Comprehensive Rebranding and Corporate Design for RMG Messtechnik

Constant change and the development of new solutions for a climate-neutral future make the measurement technology provider an indispensable technology partner in the energy industry.
RMG Messtechnik GmbH, formerly part of Honeywell, has grown, has changed. Time for a rebranding! To give the brand and the entire appearance a contemporary look, the Darmstadt-based brand agency DIE NEUDENKER® (Germany) was commissioned with the relaunch.
Brand identity: making values and promises visible
DIE NEUDENKER® developed the logo and claim as the basis for a far-reaching corporate design relaunch of the medium-sized company from Butzbach in Hesse (Germany).
The word mark 'RMG' remains in the new logo. Tightly curved radii and deep blue draw the striking lettering, which is given a visual counterpart in the form of the yellow dot. Know-how, technology and tradition meet smart intelligence (digitalization).
The catchy claim 'One Step Ahead' reflects the company's claim to leadership. Always one step ahead - an incentive that works internally and a promise that works externally.
The new TT Supermolot brand typeface has a technical look and, combined with generous color areas, results in a simple, striking design principle. The corporate colors 'Dark Night' and 'Deep Blue' together with low-poly 3D landscapes create spatial depth. A virtual reality in which RMG products and services can be perfectly staged. A special design element is the yellow DOT. Individually or as 'dot clouds' in low poly style, it sets accents and visualizes the gas measurement product. Specially developed individual icon sets with a clear design language can be used flexibly across all media.
After the conception phase, DIE NEUDENKER® rolled out the new corporate design to numerous communication media such as business stationery, product and image brochures, manuals, company presentation in PowerPoint, packaging and trade fair banners.
Special highlight: UX design for measuring device for calculating the gas volume flow rate
DIE NEUDENKER® were commissioned with the UX design for the volume corrector 'Flow-Computer'. We rethought the software user interface: both for desktop and the touchscreen version of the device. The goals: more flexible communication, easier operation and the design of the user interface in the new corporate design. The project is nearing completion.
The result: a high-quality, emotional and lively rebranding that ensures an unmistakable brand experience right down to the products.
