Modular Corporate Design for DGMK
Task
How do you manage to integrate the many subject areas of DGMK into a holistic, clear Corporate Design to pack? DIE NEUDENKER® already developed the basic design elements for the company as part of the website relaunch. Now we were commissioned to also realize the corporate design of the DGMK (German Scientific Society for Energy Sources, Mobility and Carbon Cycles).
Solution
The result is a timeless corporate design, which convinces the scientific target group with its clarity. A striking look that can be flexibly transferred to all web and print media, is modularly expandable and has a strong recognition value.
In the logo as well as in the entire branding, the hexagon forms a central design element. It is the symbol for benzene, which occurs naturally in hard coal and crude oil - two of four major research areas of DGMK. Two others are natural gas and petrochemistry.
DIE NEUDENKER® have created a uniform and comprehensive Colour System, which guides the user through the areas of DGMK: DGMK and its district groups (green), exploration & extraction (orange), processing & application (petroleum), petrochemistry (violet) and conversion of carbon carriers (red).
These corporate colors can be used in all media, online and offline. Even the company brochures - annual report, research report, conference report and programme booklet - always appear in the corresponding color.
The brochures form a visually exciting unit, but are nevertheless clearly distinguishable from each other through various finesses in the editorial design.
The company presentation was also designed in the new corporate design: Colour, shape and font ensure stringency and high recognition value. The clearly arranged master slides of the Powerpoint template help the user to save time when creating new presentations and to concentrate fully on the contents.
