Logo Design for the Business Unit "AI Infrastructure" of hessian.AI - Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence

The Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence - hessian.AI - brings together 13 Hessian universities, including the Technische Universität Darmstadt, and more than 22 scientists for joint research and further development of AI. The goal: The goal: making AI accessible and understandable to research, industry and society with the help of concrete application examples. The focus of hessian.AI is on the so-called "Third Wave AI". AI systems that are given human-like communication and thinking capabilities, thus learning from situations and being able to optimally adapt to them. 

The center is located in the science city of Darmstadt, the supercomputer infrastructure is located in the "Green IT Cube" of the GSI Helmholtzzentrum and is one of the most sustainable computing infrastructures in the world. Hessian.AI commissioned DIE NEUDENKER® with the logo design for the business unit "AI Infrastructure" as well as the three sub-units AI Innovation Lab, AI Service Center and AI Lab.

For the business unit "AI- Infrastructure" of hessian.AI DIE NEUDENKER® developed not only a logo, but a variable design principle. The three logos for the subdivisions can stand on their own and, when combined, create the main logo for the entire business unit.

The equilateral triangle of the hessian.AI logo forms the basis for the grid of the new AI infrastructure logo. In digital applications, the logo can constantly take on new shapes within this grid - a graphic analogy to the constant optimization process of artificial intelligence. The four logos for print, such as roll-up displays, are each available in a static variant.
