With five supermarket branches, EDEKA Patschull is firmly rooted in Darmstadt (Germany) - now also with its own individual website. For owner Daniel Patschull, it was important to reach everyone equally: Customers, partners, employees and those who would like to become one. Because his stores should be more than just places to shop: It's about neighborliness, togetherness and humanity - about a piece of home that makes shopping an experience.

As an agency for brand and web design, DIE NEUDENKER® conceived, designed and programmed the new website. The website, an individual web development in WordPress, shows the supermarket chain as it is: likeable, diverse, regional - and transports the strong WE feeling into the digital world.

The website positions EDEKA Patschull as a regional supermarket, an attractive employer and a reliable business partner. Everything here revolves around the land, life and people: people are presented who work with love and craftsmanship and the stories behind them. This creates closeness, authenticity and strengthens customer trust.

Creating a lively brand experience - from the market page to the online magazine

The store landing pages provide a lively overview of all locations and invite you to shop directly. The versatile online magazine provides recipe ideas, shows personal perspectives from the day-to-day work of the EDEKA team and offers insights into regional partnerships. In this way, customers can transparently find out where their favorite products come from, regionality, quality and sustainability become digitally visible and strengthen the EDEKA Patschull brand experience.

For the web design, we developed a friendly, colorful appearance based on the corporate design. This includes a defined image style/graphic style, individually designed icons and an illustrated location map. The clear structure guides visitors intuitively through the markets, jobs and magazine.

We implemented the website with NEO, the WordPress tech theme from DIE NEUDENKER®. NEO offers numerous enterprise-level features and makes editorial work, for example, a pleasure. After CMS training, the team can edit content quickly, easily and independently. The result is a website that fully reflects Patschull's corporate philosophy: "We love food - and people!" So the next "Heiner" market can come.
