Web Design for DasDoris! - Year of Orientation for Social Careers at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences
Career and study orientation - this is what DasDoris! offers undecided school graduates with a focus on the social sector. DasDoris! - the orientation year for social careers of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is a clever combination of trial study and trial training. In 12 months, participants discover the study program "Social Work", visit vocational academies and complete internships in self-selected social institutions in the Rhine-Main area. With this orientation offer including individual coaching, DasDoris! opens up a path to the social professional world for young people and makes it easier for them to decide on a course of study or training.
To raise the awareness for this great orientation offer of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and to inform about it digitally, a matching website was still missing. Anna Baum, project coordinator DasDoris!, commissioned DIE NEUDENKER® with web design and programming of the individual WordPress website for DasDoris!
Career and study orientation website
Orientate yourself - the DasDoris! website speaks the language of the target group. To give young adults a quick, playful introduction to the topic of "social", we developed a striking web design with elements that move (them). Like on Tik Tok or Instagram, important information can be discovered in clever appetizers:
- Colorful floating cards visualize the thoughts young people have when choosing a career.
- FAQs with a difference: Flip cards that can be flipped over with a click answer the most important questions about DasDoris!
- Smart circling eye-catchers briefly & succinctly provide good reasons to apply for DasDoris! and convince parents.
Testimonials provide authentic insight into the world of young people who have already had experiences with DasDoris!. On Instagram, these reports on the various occupational fields can be listened to easily and in more detail as a podcast.

DIE NEUDENKER have already caught our eye very positively through the target group-oriented design of the hobit website, which is why we commissioned them for the relaunch of our website (DasDoris!). After commissioning, an intensive workshop on our project, our target group and our visions took place. Here, the first design ideas were developed.
Even with a limited budget, the website is not off-the-shelf, but tailored to individual wishes. Changes at short notice were implemented quickly. The team was very supportive in finding web licenses for the fonts used. Overall, the spirit of DasDoris! - both in terms of us, our goals and target group - is top-notch, and I am happy to recommend DIE NEUDENKER to others!
