17 Pitch Videos for the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), Department of Mechanical Engineering
Three minutes that make the difference. Three minutes to get to the heart of years of research work. Three minutes in which professors and their team have to be convincing.
In our fast-moving times, short pitch videos are a common format to deliver the most important information to non-specialist viewers and make it comprehensible. In this case, the subject areas present themselves with their work at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). The aim was convincing viewers that research into future-oriented topics such as energy, mobility, production and resources needs to be promoted and that knowledge transfer should be made possible.
DIE NEUDENKER® were hired to create the 17 pitch videos. The framework conditions were tight: an extremely short time frame and restricted conditions (corona protection measures), partly cramped premises in laboratories and research facilities were the stipulations for our video team.
The result is authentic audiovisual presentations. Videos from a combination of real filming and animated graphics that convey a lot of content within a short time. Last but not least, the personality of the presenter, the persuasiveness, the 'burning' for the research topic contributes to the success of the video.
We would like to thank Meike Neufeld, Communications and Public Relations Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany), who actively supported the project and our NEUDENKER team.

Some examples of what is being researched at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at TU Darmstadt:
Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Debora Clever is researching future topics in industrial robotics with her team as part of the ABB Cooperative Professorship Robotics Systems (Institute for Mechatronic Systems, Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt).
Shooting day with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhold Bertrand in the ESA Lab, the joint research laboratory of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Technical University of Darmstadt.
Tightly timed: Depending on the research topic, the video team of DIE NEUDENKER® changes the filming location within the Technical University of Darmstadt. Always at their side: Meike Neufeld, Communications and Public Relations Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The head of the Department of Paper Manufacturing and Mechanical Process Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Samuel Schabel, presents 'his' topic: Building with Paper. Sustainable building with paper, circular economy.
Neudenker Malte during post-production: video editing, colour grading and animation.
Uniform intro & outro for all pitch videos in the corporate design of the Technical University of Darmstadt, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

This is what Meike Neufeld, Technical University of Darmstadt, says about DIE NEUDENKER®.
Very good, pleasant and professional cooperation on several shooting days as well as during the post-production for 17 video clips at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at TU Darmstadt. The colleagues were available at all times for questions, coordination, etc. We are very satisfied with the results and are happy about the beautiful videos that were created. Many thanks again to DIE NEUDENKER for the great support with this project.
