Into the Wild: DIE NEUDENKER® Company Outing 2024

After an exciting first half of the year and lots of exciting projects, it was time for team building and a change of pace. So we shut our laptops, packed our backpacks and all of Die Neudenker piled into the rental van: the (Black) Forest was calling! After all, one third of us are genuine Baden-Württembergers 😉

We headed south to Bad Wildbad in the most beautiful class trip atmosphere. An active sports program with a generous pinch of thrills awaited us here. Or should we say: survival training for web designers, web developers and content marketers?

First stop: the funicular! It quickly took us up the Sommerberg to the treetop walk. On the way to the observation tower, we wandered over the treetops, hunted for tasty sandwiches and tried out climbing and balancing at lofty heights. At the end, the impressive observation tower awaited us, offering a breathtaking 360-degree panorama. Black Forest at its best! We went down - how else? - with the long, twisting tunnel slide.

Yeah! Now we had the drive for the next challenge: 380 meters of happiness on the swaying suspension bridge "Wildline" at a height of 60 meters. The steel construction weighing several tons spans majestically over the Enz valley - which made some team members weak in the knees.. Because: the bridge sways quite a bit, depending on the wind force and the number of visitors. But thanks to the amazing NEUDENKER® team power, everyone made it onto the bridge, to the other end and back.  

Ready to fly: head first into adventure

After the successful crossing, it was time for our highlight of the day - and a challenge that had it all ... Now it was time to get ready for the Flying Fox! Racing head first towards the ground at up to 60 km/h ... Sounds like fun? It was!
Those who don't count themselves among the adrenaline junkies chose the gentle tour: with the "Black Forest Flyline", we circled around the observation tower and through the forest back to solid ground. A forest flight that inspired the entire NEUDENKER® team! Team building with a high 🙂 fun factor!

All the thrills were followed by a well-earned rest. While we sampled the delicacies of the Baden-Swabian cuisine, the first ideas for the next adventure were already emerging: perhaps bungee jumping or a team tattoo session?

One thing is for sure - the next team event is guaranteed not to be boring!
